All-in-one active learning solution based on general education standards targets skills and accelerates growth
FREMONT, CA: "Inspire proves that struggling and at-risk students can make tremendous gains with the right support," said n2y Chief Innovation Officer Alli Vice. "It provides a pathway for students to build confidence as teachers gradually give learners more control - from explicit instruction to guided practice and independent learning."
Inspire, a new academic intervention curriculum designed to guide struggling and at-risk students from teacher-led instruction to independent learning is a new academic intervention curriculum developed by n2y, a provider of comprehensive, technology-driven solutions for students with learning challenges.
With this new solution, educators will have access to research-based instructional strategies that will support the acquisition of key academic, critical thinking, and generalization skills, ultimately helping to close achievement gaps. This application provides teachers with an efficient method of identifying skill gaps and providing them with lesson plans, explicit instructional resources, interactive activities, and other resources to address those gaps effectively.
According to research, the greatest area of need in English language arts and math for kindergarten through second grade is to align Inspire with key standards in English language arts and math. There are currently resources available for grades K-2, and in January of 2023, grades 3-5 will also be available.
With the Inspire program, students can receive RTI intervention across the school - from special education classrooms and resource rooms and those receiving remedial instruction in general education classrooms. The program aligns with general education standards and can be used throughout the school. Students will become more engaged in learning if they have the opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom setting, over a variety of subject areas, and according to their needs, regardless of their strengths and areas for improvement.
In addition to saving teachers time, it helps monitor students' progress with an individualized education program (IEP). It will allow them to create detailed reports showing student progress and growth and monitor progress for students receiving a response to intervention (RTI). Inspire provides schools with a single solution that provides instruction, assessment, and reporting capabilities, which means that schools do not need to spend time and resources on multiple solutions.
"Inspire was designed to reach the needs of students who are struggling and require extra, focused support to learn," Ed Holmes, CEO, said. "We can't wait to empower educators with this solution so they can close the learning gaps and get students back on track."
